Hello to all,
more and more F1-RT's are hitting the roads.
Today we finished another Spyder for one of our customers here at our shop.
We have done a total conversion from his regular RS in to our RT concept.
Here are some pics. for you. The bike is painted in a beautiful millennium yellow and black.

STUDY THOSE PICTURES VERY CAREFULLY!! i believe that that is the same fake Foam trunk that was silver befor, only now is painted yellow. look close and you can see it has the same rough surface as the silver one, wich i know is fake. show us pics of the inside to prove its real. pics on his site showed how he carved it out of foam, then installed lights in it. after that he painted it black and silver and passed it off as a real product for sale. after i called him out on it, i never heard from him agian. this should warrent criminal charges.ZOOM IN ON THE LID ,no latch or handle, very obvious that it is carved , painted FOAM!!!!!!!!YOU CAN ALSO TELL IF YOU ZOOM IN AROUND THE PLATES!!!

This is nothing like what I ordered.
This was what I ordered.

Does not look a like at all.

It has been made very very boxed , and has a poor finish. The finish is not looking as it comes from a malefactor but are home made. It do cost ALOT and should expect perfect quality.
Looks like there are no sealing between door on top and the box. Look like there are no sealing under the antenna.



Why are you not opening side cases so we can see inside as you say they could. As in the picture looks like they are one solid case.
It should be compartments inside , you also stated.
You also stated that off course they are lockable. Does not see any place where the key may fit.
There are no armrest on this.

zoom to 400% and look around the license plate, that is the same foam trunk on his site!! how is he getting away with this??can some one with better computer skills than me, please blow up some of those pics and post them, before some body else looses another 5k like me!

The pics would need to be cropped and enlarged, but with the pic size limit on here of 70k (640x480), they would not be as detailed as the large ones that Marcel has linked to.

Perhaps Marcel can solve the questions by providing a picture of both the black/silver and the black/yellow units side by side.

what about the 3 Windshields you still have from us since months. You did NOT PAY ONE OF THEM and did NOT RETURN THEM.

Well I'm giving up on posting to these threads about Marcel.

It would seem to me that if the above member has paid $5k to Marcel, and has not received any products, I would think Marcel would respond with some simple pictures of his RT unit, showing the doors and how it functions.
Also give the customer some info as to when he could expect the products, or offer a full refund if the customer prefers that.

But Marcel seems to prefer to add more doubt in peoples mind my just making statements about making fake products, and making comments about products not paid for by a member here on the forum.

thank you, could you also blow up a pic of the plate area? i think that pretty much proves that that thing is fake. hes been claiming that these trunks are in full production and shipping. the last contact i had with him, he had no idea how he was going to make the trunks. that was two months ago. this should clear up any doubts any body ever had about marcel. to put that much effort into making a foam trunk look real, instead of working on the real thing. give him a wee and he'll have it painted agian and sitting on the back of a red spyder. way to teach your son marcel, you should be proud.

YES I DID PAY FOR THE 1ST WINDSHEILD........and after numerous calls and emails without any return calls or emails I finally got you once answering the phone.......you finally sent me two others to try to fix the problem which didn't...You never told me to return them because they didnt work properly so I threw them away!

Not trying to take any side here, but if you look at the last pictures posted there are some subtle differences between the silver and yellow setups. The top of the trunk is different on the two Spyders, also look at the end of the tail pipe, there is clearly a different amount of clearance between the pipe and the inside of the side bags on these two Spyders. Just saying.

the top has just another foam piece glued on top of the old lid, and the difference in the pipe clerance is on the spyders. the distance between the tire and pipe is not the same on both spyders. that is the same foam piece of s**t, just repainted another color!THE TOP LEFT TAIL LITE SETS AN INCH HIGHER THAN THE RITE ONE ON BOTH PICS.

This was when second video was posted. So according to this guy it's not the final design. But many months later it still look the same. , and it does not look anything like the first he advertised with. So think this should qualify as fraud. I intially came to this thread to defend Marcel - I have an evo 111 slider from him and it looks/works fine and the price/shipping time etc were very reasonable - I want more wind protection for the long hauls and was zeroing in on the Mantis. I still may go that way.
But, the fit and finish of the blown up pics of the trunk really concern me-it appears to be very "wavy" and "pitted"

I still don't think Marcel is a rip off artist, there is ALOT of his products on the road. I am going to with-hold jumping to conclusions and see how this pans out. I have a good budy that has a Mantis on order and will see its quality when he recieves it. I am going to wait and hear feedback concerning the final trunk model that is shipped to purchasers. I think there needs to be better customer service, the communication to folks that have forked out big bucks must be improved. He needs to get a full time CS rep, his sales will go throught the roof -- assuming the product shipped to customers is up to par.

just read the new disclaimer on marcels site. no one will be receiving a refund who ordered his p.o.s. "rt" kit. i bet alot of people have been calling wanting refunds since he posted pics of that peice of crap he calls a trunk!
