I am looking for some feedback about that kit. Does the performance gain is noticeable, if any?? Maybe someone did a before / after dyno and can share the results.
Thanks

Don't know about preformance gain but I like the kit.. got rid of the oily airbox and filter that let things get by it.. I put a pre-filter around it and some insulation on top to tone down the intake noise some.. don't mind the sound at all now..

Don't know if it makes any different, but the shop manual says never remove or modify any component in the air intake system. Does the aftermarket system take into account the engine management calibrations? If so what else needs to be done?

This is why I changed to the Kewlmetal.. you can see the grass stems getting past the filter, so felt that probably a lot of dust/dirt was getting past the filter.. then you also have the oil in the airbox to content with...I never changed my exhaust so don't think I am getting more air through the engine...but will be checking my plugs to make sure I'm not running to lean..others have changed exhaust then added the juice box...

The intake is noisy for sure...about all the insulation did was to take some of the tinny sound away... it doesn't bother me but I don't play music or have a passenger.. There are others on the other forums..but one removed it because his wife said it was too loud...to me it sounds tough..
