I'm looking for real waterproof gloves - gauntlet style

Cost not important - function is.

Dry hands for long touring a must 10 – 14 hrs of rain day ryding

Not looking for inserts – gloves waterproof and windproof

I am looking for a pair of these as well. I have bought several which where advertised as waterproof and paid over $100 for a couple and still didn't work more than 2-3 hours of downpoor rain.

That's my exact issue. I own 4 pairs of so called waterproof gloves and they fail to hold up during a long rain tour ryde.

I am looking for honest and accurate info with a first hand knowledge that the gloves will not fail.

Are snow mobil gloves waterproof?

The best "waterproof" gloves I have owned are gore-tex made by Reima. Reima was bought out by Scott and I'm not sure they are a high-end brand as they once were. I'm not sure there is a truly waterproof glove for the complete soaking downpour other than rubber/plastic.

This is a link to the SHIFT Torrent gloves on WebBikeWorld. They have reviews of many gloves and are usually pretty accurate in their findings.
