Well I am sick of the heat on the right side of the spyder .So I have decieded to try and reduce some of it . I have taken off the exhaust and I am going to use Exhaust Header Wrap I will do all of the system and I will post my results So the rest of you Aussies can get a bit of info on wether it works or not,I am sure it will help But I will still get heat from the Radiator"s fan
I have also gone up to 15w 50 grade oil to allow for our conditions .If anyone has already done this please reply with your comments

Hi Gary

I pretty much seem to have cured the heat specifically on my right foot. I used a bit of thin flexible plastic to close the 30mm or so gap between the "scoop" on the fan air outlet and the body of the Spyder. The hot air still comes out of the side but seems to miss my foot entirely now. Much better I have found and very simple to do. I will try and take a picture if you are interested.

Well I have done the Exhaust wrap and result is a little less heat in the engine, the bike seemed to go a little better, but that also could be the Oil upgrade to .Before the exhaust wrap on a day of 32-34 the spyder would run at 4-5 bars at 80-100Ks on highway now 3-4 bars a slight improvement.
but the oil upgrade is a must the gearchange has improved and the transmission seemed to enjoy it too
