Rode my new RT-S PE #0311, from Birmingham, AL, where I picked it up, home to Orlando, FL yesterday. The trip home was 533 miles. Went for a ride this morning and hit the 600 mile mark and it's ready for it's 600 mile service. It's my first Spyder and it took me maybe 50 miles before becoming comfortable in the saddle. So far, I'm very impressed. The comfort of the ride, handling and suspension makes riding even more enjoyable. I think this model is what the three wheel crowd has been waiting for. I know it's what I've been waiting for. So far, a very happy, satisfied customer here!

Congrats on the new Spyder - you have just scratched the surface! I am at 18,000 miles and still loving the ride - wish the rain would stop so I could add on to those miles......

I just today broke the 1000 mile mark. I appreciate you getting back to me on the highway boards. I really need a little more room and hopefully they are the answer and I hope you enjoyed your ryde today!

I was wondering if you guys have had any trouble with the front end wanting to wonder, for lack of a better word? Mine will feel top heavy and wants to dart around in the lane. I have set the front shocks up to almost there highest setting. I only have about 100 miles on mine so it is possible that I'm just not used to it yet.

I haven't experienced any unusual looseness in mine but it's my first Spyder and I'm not sure what to expect. I like the fact a minor adjustment in steering rights any minor over or under steer. My suspension is set at 4 and 20 lbs of air pressure in the front tires and 65 in the rear. It seems to be the proper settings for me. I've seen it suggested in the Spyder forums up to 75 psi in the rear tire. I was pretty much comfortable with her handling after about 50 miles and very comfortable after a 100. I also find I still like to lean into the turn even though I'm not sure it really makes any difference at all.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no! You can't run this kind of pressure in the rear tire!!! I'm sure what you read was for the rear suspension preload setting. The rear tire is only rated for 30 psi maximum. The maximum rated tire pressure is printed on the sidewall of every tire. You should not exceed thie rated pressure, for safety's sake. You are risking a blowout, and will wear the center of the tire rapidly.

Thank you Scotty!!! You're absolutely right. I'm hoping Raptor sees your correction. I'd hate to be the cause of a mishap. Especially when someone's seeking sound advice. I'm glad you caught that and thanks again!

Have you had the chance to get the Hwy boards on your Spyder yet? Need some kind of Hwy board or peg!
