I'm considering changing the color of my wife's new Spyder, which came equipped with the hard bags. Does anyone know if the color panels on those bags are easily removable (without damaging the bags)?

Very easy. When you open the bag there are approximately 8 screws that hold the color panel onto the box.

all of those bags come one color and the color panels are addded to match your bike (i.e. yellow, red, silver)
