Seven Days to go.Posted Image

This looks like its is going to be a blast. With the help of "CVRider" in Carson City, We have the meet and greet set up, we have some groups rides planned, some sightseeing stops set up (Virgina City). We have a stop Planned at the Oldest Thirst House in Nevada (The Genoa Bar). We even have a departure dinner set up.

I think we are some where in the neighborhood of 20-25 Spyder for this event. 14 have registered on the BRP site. The other have just stated they were going. I hope everyone can make it. I am looking forward to meeting new folks, and reaquating myself with fellow riders I have met over the past couple of years.

The trip to Nevada went well till we hit the mountains, a few drops of rain for a ways. Soon temps started dropping, then we encountered some snow showers off and on. temp at the summit was 29 degrees. Once into south Lake Tahoe, it was really snowing, not accumulating on the roads, but still not like the sun that had been predicted. :)

Marciana and I arrived in Carson City About 5:30pm. The WCS group had arrived a bit before us and we already checked into the motel. We talked for a while and then headed off for dinner, dinner lasted about two hours, good food, great company, think a fun time was had by all.

I left Billy Bob, TJ, and a few others in the bar waiting to do karaoke, came back to post some pics and crash. A local Spyder Owner (Gale) offered me the use of his driveway in the morning for a washing/detailing of Spydie & trailer, it looks like it went thru a major winter drive in the mountains.

What a great long weekend! Weather, though chilly, was spectacular. Stayed clear and sunny Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No snow on the roads we were on. There is nothing more fun than a group of happy Spyder Ryders!!! :riding:
