As you all know, you Spyder has a computer built into it. Well, did you know you display any fault codes that are in the system, and have them scroll across the cluster? Well you can follow these simple steps.
1. Turn the power on and start your Spyder.
2. Using the mode button, Press the button until hours (total not trip) are displayed at the bottom of the cluster.
3. Holding the mode button down. Flash your high beams 3 times (quickly)
If there any fault codes in the computer they will now be displayed across the Cluster. Otherwise, it will display "No Active Fault Codes"
Have fun, I hope your don't have any active codes.

Just double check this. I think you will find that you have to flash your lights 5 Times.

It should display "No Active Fault Codes"
Are you holding down the mode button on the Handle bars? that is the one you want to hold down.
I tried again on mine this morning. I did find out that the handle bars/wheels have to be straight.

Are you using the highbeam switch on the left hand handle bar or the small headlight switch located on the rear of the throttle handlebar ??

They Spyder must be running. It will not work if you just turn the power on.

Do not want to be to pedantic on this, but I wonder if it could be a difference between 08s and 09s. Mine is an 08 manual and it is definitely 5 times within 2 seconds.
