Gotta drop one from the list guys. After a lot of deliberation and an issue with BRP I won't get into on the forums I had my dealer cancel my Spyder order today. I hope you guys really enjoy your new RT's (seriously). Carol will still be around on the forums and be happily riding PE 1941 for many more miles I am sure, but I'm stepping back to two wheels and away from BRP permanently it looks like. My new Bike should be here in about 5 days. Hope to meet ya where the roads cross and the winds are calm.

If anyone from BRP is reading this, what gives with the brochure for the new 2010 RT & RS? The "overall width" shown is in excess of 82" but the BRP web site says 62+". I assume the 82+ is a mis print. That would be close to 7' wide. I have a 2010 RT on order and am in the process of rearranging my basement walkout shop area to park it and would really like to know the correct width. I've called BRP and was only able to leave a message because thay never answer the phone and I also sent an e-mail to them requesting the same info. This was all done the middle of last week and I have not heard a word yet. I'd also liked to of ask them about build dates for the Audio & convenience Gp. model which I have ordered. Has anyone got any info? on either topic (width, build dates).

Well, guess Dec. or later works for me. I'll be staying close to the fire at that time of the year anyway but would still love to get on the new RT. Live 50 mile north of Kansas City, MO and there aern't many nice days from Dec to spring. If I do get delivery Feb, March, I'll spend the time waxing the new paint and wishing for warm weather. My old bones (65+) don't fare well in cold air and can't get "She who knows best" to move South.

Heard the same about the PEs from my dealer. That would be nice since it would snag a sales tax rebate on my income tax. The pre-order certificate for the Premiere Edition RT-S guarantees delivery by March 31, 2010, or you can get your deposit back if you decide to cancel. Dealer expects all PEs to be delivered by February, with some of the other colors and trim levels starting to come in during Feb, March, and April. We'll know when they get here, I guess. They expect a demo in November or December. Meanwhile I have to try to make room for a second Spyder with the 22 motorcycles and the two collector cars, and try not to get too excited.

It appears the delivery times for the RT is as varied as the fist of the GS models, different info from different sources. For me...... it will be what it is.

Where are you located? The wait will be easier if you are up north like me.

I'm not sure that will be easier. The thought of my RT landing in the middle of a Michigan winter is dismaying. It is hard enough to wait for it to be delivered, but to have it sit in my garage without being able to ride it will be excrutiating. I'm going to have to start practicing "Vroom, vroom" noises, I guess.

Yeah, talk about being "teased"! That is just cruel.

Yeah, I guess you are right. I tend to go into Winter mode with snowmobiling in December and back into Summer mode with Spyder in Spring...but it would be hard to have a shiny new Spyder in my garage with a foot of snow on the ground.

Ordered last week. Do you get any kind of confirmation letter from BRP, order #, etc. to verify your order and your place in the order line. Also, heard a rumor that they were going to offer silver for the PE as well as the Black and Blue -- anyone hear that rumor?
Ride safe, have fun and enjoy life.
