G'day Newbie,

I have a Hindle exhaust fitted to my Spyder.

Fitting it was easy and it actually is a neater fit than the standard exhaust which has a collar in the join underneath the bike. It took me about an hour to swap the two exhausts.

Whilst it purrs at around 100kmh, it can be a bit loud when accelerating from low speed. For that reason I tend to be gentle on the throttle in built-up areas. The sound it makes on the downshifts is just the best.

If I have you right, I believe that you live in Kyabram. We are going up to Cobram this weekend. If you want, we could drop in on Sunday and let you hear what this exhaust sounds like.

Redback.

I would guess late in the morning.

Insurance isn't an issue that I know of. I am with RACV.

The exhaust is made by Can-Am and is a sports option with the bike. I actually first heard it at the demonstration day at St Kilda where it was fitted to one of the bikes they were using for the rides.

Probably more around 11:00.

And there will only be myself and my wife who rides a Honda DN-01. So any detour is not an issue.

Okay.

Yep, but time is not really an issue. We have all day to do a two-hour trip.

Probably easy to phone. Can you send our phone number to me email address which is the Australian Spyder Ryders website.

Hi from Tassie
I've got the Hindle on mine.
A lot of people comment on how nice it sounds.
Even had the cops tell me it sounds sweet :riding:

Hi Mate

I bought a stainless Motad Venom from Ebay. Comes with muffler, 90 degree link pipe and a db killer ($700 Aus delivered).
With the db killer it is a touch quieter than the Hindle, without it, everyone knows you're coming.
Sound is very much like an Italian sports bike (Aprilia with aftermarkets).

I just brought in a couple of Venom Plus systems for the Spyder - very happy so far. I think they look more stylish than the plain Venom but beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say.
