Has anyone tried the GloRyder Wheel lights, we have them and love them because at night, you can be seen from the side and they are really cool looking, they come in about 10 colors. They have a day and night sensor so that they come on at dark only if you have wheel rotation. We have run them for over a 1000 miles, no problems, seems like real quality.

Not legal in many states. Up to the discretion of local officers.

There are 10 or 12 colors availabe encluding amber ,white, these should be legal. Check out the web site GloRyders.com, scroll down through the colored wheels to the Spyder, see what you think.Last night while my wife was driving we had 5 different city and county police pull up beside us and check out the light then move on. WE had red 5 inch long leds behind the black grid work on tank,15 inch blue white led strips on the tank, and 4 strobing white leds underneath the front end, red GloRyders on the Front wheels, no problems and this is a holiday week end, usually the law is stricter on holidays.

Thanks B-Man, glad you like them!
Just to jump in here, there are literally thousands of Spyder Riders out there with every color GloRyder we carry (the most popular sale color is between Red and Blue).
After having been asked this over and over by potential buyers and talking with countless law enforcement agents, we have found there really is no one size fits all law on this as every state city and county have their own rules. This is why we have been successful selling these for vehicles since 2005, and one reason why we continue to expand our product line.
As always we encourage riders to check with their local law enforcement to see what applys in your area.
