Here's the situation. Bought my Spyder right at a month ago and absolutely love it  . It's a Limited Edition Phantom #38. The dealer put dual two bro's carbon's on it prior to me buying it. I absolutely love the pipes.

Anyway, here's my question/problem. There is a rattle in the exhaust system at about 5000 rpm's. Not extremely bad, but it shoulds like s$&% and is annoying :wall: . Has anyone else with these pipes had this problem? I know of two other Spyder owners who have these pipes and they have not had the problem.

The dealer currently has it for the 2nd time for this problem. It sounds like a spring is vibrating and hitting the pipe, but they say the problem is where the two bro's system connects to the stock pipe. Today they told me they called two bro's who said it sounded like a small gap between the two pipes and to use some high temp rtv silicone to fill in the gap... Dealer said it should be ready tomorrow :black2: . Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions would be helpful...

Thx fellow Spyder riders :beerchug1: .

It is most likely a sprong vibation. This happens on snowmobile exhaust springs all the time. Just take some rtv sealer and run a bead on the spring length wise. Let it set up and the spring won't vibrate. Put it on the bottom so it doesn't show. :riding:

How do you like the sound? I've been thinking about getting this exhaust for a while now in Titanium (still have stock). Do you use the power tips? I'm not into crazy about loud exhausts but the look of the exhaust is really cool! Thanks

Update from the dealer is the rattle is not coming from the Two Bro's system. They put stock back on and it was still there. They contacted BRP who gave them some suggestions so we shall see if they got it fixed or not this Friday.

I love the sound of the dual Two Bro's. I do not have power tips. For me it's perfect. Not too loud, then again not to quite. Might search on here for a sound clip, or check you tube. Gotta be one some where. If you can't find one, let me know and I'll try to make one so you can hear it.

I have the carbon fiber exhausts with juice box, and it sounds awesome.
definitely get the power tips. no loss in power, just more sound suppression whcih is good.
you will definitely be heard, but not as obnoxious as some custom harley jobs.
sound like a formula race car.

I have the TBR Dual/CF with the PowerTips. Great sound. Sort of reminds me of a Ducati.
I'm actually thinking of getting the new PowerTips to quiet it down even more.
I'd like to stop setting off a couple of car-alarms in the neighborhood.
